This year 2017, will be the eighth Tiradentes Photo Festival. It happens in the first half of the year, between carnival and Holy Week. The festival features big names in photography from Brazil and from around the world. There will be exhibitions, workshops, lectures, debates, portfolio readings, photo projections and educational activities focused on the local community.

We will be having our own workshops in English around fashion and glamour photography during the week the festival is on. Unfortunately, most of the talks will be in Portuguese only however translators are available.
There is a lot to see and do both in the town of Tiradentes and the surrounding district. The town itself dates from the 18th century and is very historic. The town is also close to several important mountain ranges and is perfect for landscape photography or nudes in the landscape.
